Finally, as a locum your travel and meals should be a deductible business expense. What this all adds up to is a free ski vacation for 3 hours of walk-in work per day.

Rehabilition
We are open every day of the ski season, and have an experienced physiotherapist on staff to attend your treatment. We can arrange a comprehensive program of recovery using our on-site specialized facility.

Braces available
Through our partenership with Okaped, we have a wide variety of braces available for injury treatment and prevention.
Equipment
A good variety of exercise equipment for both sports & injury rehabilitation, and health & fitness purposes.

• Medicine ball, exercise ball, pulleys, BAPS board etc.
• Cardiovascular equipment including Treadmill, Bike, Stepper & Jump Rope with TV monitor & Stereo available.
• Resistance training equipment ranging from hand & ankle weights to dumbells to barbells & free weights to multi-station pin-weight equipment.
• Boxercise equipment (TaiBo tapes).
• Water Fountain and washroom facilities available.

Locums Needed
Whitefoot Clinic needs locums this season. Locums are expected to work in the clinic from 3PM to 6PM (average 6-8 patients). This low volume walk-in clinic is fully staffed and self-contained (more serious injuries, or those requiring Xray are sent directly from Ski Patrole to Kelowna General Hospital by ambulance and are not seen by the locum). The clinic keeps billings for the first 10 patients per day, and 40% thereafter (locum 60%).This offer is initally open only to returnees from previous years, but any remaining dates will be opened to all licenced BC physicians as of Dec. 25, 2003. The website will be updated to reflect availability ASAP. Locum also recieves half price Massages in our Spa for themselves and a guest (value $60/d).

Locum perks
The locum and their family/guest recieve luxury accommodation in Whitefoot Lodge for each night of clinic coverage Locums over 3 days will stay in our newly renovated, ski-in/ski-out, large two bedroom, two bathroom condominium includes one King size bed, twin bunk, double bed, and hide-a-bed. There is DishNetwork satellite TV, 6 appliances (including washer & dryer, &dishwasher) Jacuzzi tub, sauna, hot-tub, and complete gym (value $350/d) . Short term locums (3 days or less) stay in a bachelor spa condo, with all amenties, and a free in-room massage daily (value $60/d). Complete details are available by calling the clinic at 765-0544.

Locum MDs also receive one day free family lift pass for every day of clinic covered which may be used day of or day after coverage (value approx $200/d for family of 4).

Whitefoot Clinic will custom tailor a multimedia CME (CDROM or VHS) program to suit your interests.Programs include the latest medical advances, Medicine on the Web, and interactive Computer Learning on all the current office and imaging software.

Cost is $25 per day (plus refundable deposit) for any CME program. If you don't have a computer, you can rent a Pentium laptop ( $15/day) or use one of our on-site computers ($10/hr). These programs qualify for CME Credits, and we will be happy to issue a confirmation of attendance for tax purposes or qualifying credit (Mainpro M2 ). Accomodation
Stay in our Luxury Condo at the Whitefoot Lodge (click here to visit Whitefoot 200) and the above programs are included in the package price.
